What information is needed for custom stamping washers?
Drawing or sample, material grade, thickness, hole diameter, outer shape, tolerance, surface finish, quantity and packing requirement.
Can square washers be zinc plated or hot-dip galvanized?
Yes. Common finishes include zinc plating, mechanical zinc, hot-dip galvanizing, Dacromet and black oxide. Finish is confirmed at RFQ.
What is the difference between DIN 436 square washer and DIN 434 square taper washer?
DIN 436 is a flat square washer used for load distribution in timber and steel joints. DIN 434 has an 8% taper and is used on the inclined flanges of I-beams and channels so the bolt sits square to the surface.
